Propulsion, Suspension & Controls Engineer

At indiGO Technologies (Tradename: “GO”), we are changing the electric vehicle paradigm with our own class of ultra-efficient electric vehicles for ride hailing and last-mile delivery use cases. Responsibilities include developing and integrating propulsion and control strategies, calibrations, and diagnostics in coordination with vehicle, software, and chassis teams to balance efficiency, drivability, and safety. The work combines laboratory and on-vehicle testing, hands-on problem solving, and rigorous documentation to enable repeatability and cross-team collaboration.

KEY Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to propulsion control projects
  • Analyze test data and iterate parameters to meet performance and safety objectives.
  • Document interfaces and changes; support prototype/pilot bring-up and issue triage.
Experiential Background:
  • BS/MS in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with control systems and embedded software in an electromechanical product.
  • Comfort with lab work, data analysis, and iterative tuning on hardware.
  • Familiarity with vehicle networks and system integration is helpful.

Qualified candidates working from our EV facility and HQ in Woburn, MA (20-minutes from downtown Boston) are preferred and will be prioritized. Note that only experienced and qualified candidates should apply, and also state whether they can either work fulltime in Woburn MA or are open to relocation to the NorthEast area.

Job Title and Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is between $165,000 and $180,000, based on full-time employment.
  • Actual salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.
